HOW WE WORK

SO YOU WANT TO VOLUNTEER!

Volunteering Otago acts as a link between prospective volunteers and organisations with available volunteer positions. At present we work with around 100 not-for-profit organisations, so you will have a range of voluntary positions to choose from.

We give you, the volunteer, contact names and phone numbers for positions you have expressed an interest in and which suits your skills and interests.

You choose which volunteer position appeals most to you and arrange an interview. Take the slip with the details on it to the interview at the organisation with you.

We suggest you take your time to consider any position offered as it is important you enjoy your work.

Please let us know how you get on and what position you have decided to choose. If you ever have any problems with your volunteering, please give us a ring (471 6206 ), email us (dvct@ihug.co.nz), or come in and see us.

Volunteering Otago is here to support you.
