We can only help you with local volunteering here at the centre, but if you're interested in volunteering abroad, check out these NZ-based organisations who do offer International volunteering opportunities. There are also some good International sites with lots of helpful information.

NZ Organisations

• http://www.volunteer.org.nz Global Volunteer Network Gap year or career break type volunteering programme. Accepts volunteers from most countries. Wide variety of programmes in over 20 countries. Volunteers must finance themselves.

• http://www.vsa.org.nz/ Volunteer Service Abroad Mainly skilled, long-term assignments in selected countries in Asia, Africa and the Pacific. Open to New Zealand residents/citizens only. Volunteers receive some financial help with travelling and living costs.
