Volunteering Central
Established in March 2011 Volunteering Central is a branch of Volunteering Otago and aims to increase community awareness of volunteering opportunities in the Central Lakes District and Central Otago.
Reaching across the awesome Central Lakes district, Volunteering Central offers a range of services to volunteers and organisations in which volunteers play a role. This includes a volunteer matching service, training, networking, information, support, advice and the opportunity to stay connected to what’s happening in your area.
As diverse as the landscape and communities within the region, volunteers can access a huge range of opportunities in which to share and develop their skills, meet new people and be part of something enjoyable and rewarding. Sports and music events, conservation, working with kids or caring for others – whoever you are,wherever you’re from and whatever you’re into, you can change lives and have fun!
