Free School Holiday Programme
In the holiday programmes we do much the same as in the SCIP classes, but these are tailored to 11 to 15-year-olds, and usually take place over 3-5 days at a time during the school holidays. During this time we visit the SPCA and the Shetland Street Community Gardens, as well as doing a show on Otago Access Radio about volunteering. These programmes are free, and fun! We have had many emails from parents raving about the change in their young peoples' enthusiasm to help others, and that makes the programme even more rewarding to offer!
