Supported Volunteering Programme
Supported Volunteering supports people who make their own choices about what’s right for them
The Supported Volunteering Programme is a referral-based service that supports individuals who have experienced issues with their mental health to access volunteer opportunities.
Supported Volunteering offers a no-pressure environment and a non-judgemental experience allowing participants to make their own discoveries about what their interests are, what works for them, what does not and how they cope with new experiences. The Supported Volunteering Programme is sponsored by the Southern District Health Board.
